Overview

Sleep Rewind Repeat is a bedtime audio player for iPhone and Apple Watch that detects when you fall asleep and automatically pauses and rewinds your audio. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Data We Collect

The app collects heart rate and motion data from your Apple Watch only while a monitoring session is active. Heart rate is used to detect sleep onset by monitoring for decreases that indicate you are falling asleep. Motion and accelerometer data are used to detect stillness that indicates sleep.

How Health Data Is Used

Audio And Podcast Data

Data We Do Not Collect

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your devices. On iPhone, podcast subscriptions, bookmarks, sleep session history, and app settings are stored in local app storage. On Apple Watch, temporary biometric buffers are used during monitoring sessions. Session summaries may transfer to iPhone using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework.

Sleep session history is retained for up to 90 days. Deleting the app removes locally stored data.

Third-Party Services

The app connects to the internet for podcast RSS feeds and, when configured, podcast directory search. Health data and personal data are not included in those requests.

HealthKit Integration

The app uses Apple HealthKit to read heart rate data during active monitoring sessions and to record a mindful workout session for Apple Watch background runtime. The app does not write health data back to HealthKit beyond the workout session record.

Your Rights

You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Health. You can delete the app to remove locally stored data.
